Sean brings a wealth of experience across Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency, FinTech, policy, and more.

As the former CEO of the Algorand Foundation, Sean played a crucial role in positioning Algorand as a leading layer-1 blockchain, reaching the Top-20 by market capitalization under his tenure. His work advanced the technology and set new standards for blockchain governance and community engagement.

Sean currently serves as CSO and Co-founder at IDA, Senior Advisor at the Crypto Council for Innovation, Managing Director at MODO Tech Ltd., and a regular Forbes contributor. He holds an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
